Charging system
Charging codes describe system voltage that is too low, or a generator control circuit the ECU cannot command.
P0562 is system voltage low. P0620 is a generator control circuit. A weak battery, a slipping belt, or a failing alternator can sit behind either symptom: dim lights and a slow crank.
Measure voltage with the engine running before replacing the alternator. The DTC page lists that check.
A trouble code marks a condition to test. It does not by itself prove which part to replace.
